Four Stars 4M Trail Run

Four Stars. Four Miles. Chicago Style.

Beers, Da Bears, hot dogs without ketchup, summer days on Lake Shore, winter nights wherever it’s warm, praying for D. Rose to get healthy and stay healthy, the Cubbies and Sox breaking our hearts every year, deep dish pizza...yeah, Chicago rules.

Come out and celebrate being from the greatest city on the planet while hitting the trails. The Four Stars is a four mile trail race followed by beers, Chicago style hot dogs, music, a Chicago themed raffle, and hanging out with good friends. We will also have a costume contest! The costumes must be Chicago-themed, so rack your brains about our beloved city and think of a great costume! Costume contest winners will be awarded richly!

The celebration will begin at 10am on Saturday, September 20, 2014.

The Four Stars trail race will take place on the trails Old School Forest Preserve in Lake County. Come tackle the beautiful trails of Lake County, some of the best the Chicagoland has to offer! The trail is great for those new to trail running, but will also be challenging enough for the most seasoned trail nut.

Race day schedule is as follows:

  • 8:45am to 9:45am - Race day packet pick up and registration
  • 10am - Run begins!
  • 11am - Costume contest
  • 11:15am - "All Things Chicago" raffle

All trail runners will receive a free beer, a Four Stars tech t-shirt, a Four Stars bib, a unique, Chicago themed finisher’s prize, free Chicago style hot dog bar, along with free drinks and snacks. Live results will be posted on site on our big screen as well as online immediately following each runner’s finish!

We will post a course map as soon as our route is approved by the Lake County Forest Preserve District.
