I Heart Momma 5k Trail Run
Love Your Momma!
The I Heart Momma trail race will be 3.1 mother lovin’ miles through the trails of Hickory Creek Forest Preserve. Celebrate the woman who gave you life by getting active and hitting the trails! The race will be followed by food, fun, and festivities that will celebrate the most beloved woman in your life.
The course will take you onto the trails, through the woods, and back to the festival area. The course will be a unique, scenic loop design.
The race will begin at 10am on Saturday, May 10, 2014. The start/finish location will be at Hickory Creek Forest Preserve (we will be using a different trail than we used for the Double Down in April).
There will be water, pretzels, bananas, and a hot dog bar (Chicago style, of course...leave your ketchup at home) following the race, all included in the registration price. All runners of legal age will also receive free beer.
All registered runners will receive a gender specific I Heart Momma t-shirt, a custom bib, free food and drinks, and a custom I Heart Momma finisher’s award.
We are proud to be partnering with the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (USA) to donate a portion of the proceeds to the PWS Association, which is working towards researching a cure for PWS. Click here to learn more about PWS.
